What is the difference between a blog and a website?

The difference between these two communication tools is the use it is made of! They may be complementary.

A blog is a type of site where content is presented in reverse chronological order: the latest articles appear first. It builds around a subject, a sector of activity, a passion. Internet users can interact by leaving a message under each article. The author of the blog will be able to answer it. Blogs are a great way to show search engines that you are active and that you share quality content.

THE BLOG IS A MEDIUM:

  • To organize his thoughts and ideas to a wider audience.
  • It also allows you to present your skills and experiences.
  • Exchange with people with the same interests.
  • To raise public awareness, campaign.
  • Make you want to use your work and skills.

It is possible to use WordPress to create a blog.

A website offers content that is organized by pages that, unlike a blog, are not updated frequently. It informs about your products/services. Often, a site may include a blog, which is fed with content on different topics.

All blogs can be sites or be part of a site; but not all sites can be called blogs.

THE INTERNET SITE TO BE OBJECTIVE:

  • To convince users about the quality of your products or services.
  • Push to the purchase act.
  • Attract customers.
  • Present your products and/or services.

There is a difference between blog and website. However, these two tools can be complementary.
